Duckling
Ducklings aren’t ugly at all. Maybe that’s why the ugly duckling was so insecure. Ducks come in many different colors and patterns, depending on their breed. Nonetheless, they are very social animals and they like sticking around with each other and often come in “rafts” or “teams, “ which are collective terms for ducks. They’re often monogamous, having one mating partner for life. Ducks are also related to swans and geese, which is probably why the ugly duckling got confused.
