Giraffe
The giraffe is the world’s tallest mammal and a newborn giraffe is even taller than the average human. An hour after its birth, a baby giraffe can already stand tall on its legs and then run alongside its family after only 10 hours. Giraffes spend most of their lives upright, standing up even when they sleep and when they give birth. Baby giraffes are like baby humans in the sense that they have play dates while the parents are out to forage.
