Panda
Baby panda bears when newly born are the smallest mammals in size in relation to their mothers, aside from marsupials. Their size upon birth can be compared to a stick of butter and can weigh between 3 oz. to 5 oz. only. They are practically immobile until they are 3months old and they can only open their eyes after 8 weeks. Baby pandas are weaned after a year, as they are completely dependent on their mothers for nutrition until that age.
