Taking care of a Shih Tzu is like having your own baby. It is quite high maintenance. You have to clean it up on a daily basis. They easily get dirty because they move a lot. They also have really luxurious coat. You need to brush their hair every day. They can be perfect as companions for kids. They can get a bit jealous though. You have to think twice before bringing another dog in the house.
